Doing More With Less

To help OXO scale e-commerce distribution, we redesigned packaging for 17 of their best-selling products. Online retail packaging has to do more than survive the trip. It needs to protect against damage and still deliver a brand experience that feels worthy of the product when it reaches the doorstep. Using our Amazon SIPP expertise, we developed packaging that met program requirements while improving material use and pallet efficiency.

By right-sizing packaging across the portfolio, OXO reduced material use, achieved ISTA-tested and approved packaging, and maintained the brand look customers know and trust. The 3-piece POP Cereal Dispenser Set delivered especially strong results, with a 113% increase in units per pallet and a 38% reduction in packaging weight. Smaller, stronger, and lighter on resources, OXO’s e-commerce packaging got sharper.
